As a recruiter, you know the drill: send out more resumes, schedule more interviews, and hopefully land more job offers. But what if there was a way to increase your chances of success and retain control over the recruitment process?

Recent studies have shown that companies are placing a greater emphasis on candidates' interpersonal and social abilities. And this is where the problem lies for many jobseekers, as 67% of them lack confidence during interviews, and 39% of candidates are rejected due to their overall confidence levels.
When it comes to increasing placement ratios, professional interview coaching can be a valuable tool for both the candidate and the recruiter. A study conducted in 2021 found that candidates who received professional interview preparation were three times more likely to pass their interview and land the job. This is just one of the many ways to prepare the candidate for the job market.
It's worth noting that many management consultancies such as Deloitte, Accenture, and McKinsey provide these types of services to their employees as a means of ensuring placement on client site. Similarly, by investing in candidates and providing them with the necessary resources, recruiters can increase their chances of success in the job market, and ultimately results in a higher interview to placement ratios.
Of course, there's always the risk that a candidate may reject the job offer, but all investments come with some level of risk. As a recruiter, you have the option to implement extended qualification questions to gauge a candidate's commitment or even set up a financial caveat if they decide to reject an offer.
However, not all types of placements are suitable for this process model. Enterivew found that the value of the placement must be greater than £3000 for the interview training to be beneficial for recruiters.
In the end, it's all about being proactive and taking control of the recruitment process. By investing in professional interview coaching for your candidates, you're increasing their chances of success and, ultimately, your own.
